Fit Comparison Guide
Find your fit
Use these silhouettes as a starting point, then check the size chart on the individual product page for the measurements of the piece you want. A fit name describes the shape, not a universal measurement or a reason to size up.
Tops and hoodies
| Detail | Oversized | Boxy |
|---|---|---|
| Intended silhouette | Roomy with a relaxed drape. | Wide through the body with a squarer proportion. |
| Length | Generally longer than a comparable boxy tee; compare the listed length by size. | Generally shorter relative to its width; compare the listed length by size. |
| Shoulder | Relaxed shoulder line; check the shoulder measurement where provided. | Broad shoulder line that emphasizes width; check the product chart. |
| Hem | Check the individual tee or hoodie for its hem finish. | Check the individual tee or hoodie for its hem finish; some hoodies have ribbed hems. |
| Choose it when | You want more length and drape, or room to layer. | You want width without as much length and a more compact proportion. |
For example, the size S Snow Washed Oversized Cotton T-Shirt lists a 70 cm length and 56 cm chest (flat measurement); the size S Essential Sorona Boxy T-Shirt lists a 65 cm length and 61 cm chest. They are different designs, so compare your preferred size in each chart rather than treating the labels as interchangeable. For layers, compare the Oversized Hoodie and Full-Zip Boxy Hoodie.
Bottoms
| Detail | Jogged | Barrel-leg | Straight |
|---|---|---|---|
| Intended silhouette | Room through the upper leg with a neater ankle. | Fuller curved leg shape. | Relaxed leg with a more even line down to the hem. |
| Length | Check the length chart; ankle cuffs change how the leg sits. | Check the listed length and where the hem falls on you. | Check the listed length for your preferred break over shoes. |
| Waist | Use the product's waist chart, not the fit label, to pick your size. | Use the product's waist chart; the leg volume does not tell you waist fit. | Use the product's waist chart and preferred ease. |
| Hem | Gathered or cuffed at the ankle, as on the Snow Wash jogged sweatpants. | A fuller leg opening; check the individual product for its finish. | A straighter opening; check the individual product for its finish. |
| Choose it when | You want a contained ankle with room higher up the leg. | You want a curved, more sculptural leg. | You want an easy, uninterrupted leg line. |
Compare the Snow Wash Heavyweight Jogged Sweatpants, Heavyweight Barrel Leg Sweatpants, and Curved Stripe Straight Sweatpants. For sweatpants, start with your waist and hip measurements, then check length and the ankle shape. Size up only if the next size's chart better matches the room you want.
Fabric and care details vary by piece. Check each product page before choosing.
